FUN, FUN & MORE FUN -That's how the youths described their experience at "Six Flags with The Omega's" on August 10th.  

 

It was the Chapter of Lambda Gamma Gamma of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Omega Gold Development Group 5th Annual event that brought laughter and good times for over 150 youths and their parents. This "Free" event yielded the largest group in its history. "Many parents are facing hard times and are unable to provide outings, of this sought, for their kids," stated event coordinator Reggie Woods. "Our goal is to provide an event like this, so that the parents can focus on other essentials, like back to school items." 

 

The youths were truly treated to something special. There were food, prizes, back to school supplies and lots more of fun stuff. "It reminded me of the movie Wille Wonka and The Chocolate Factory," said Omega Gold's Executive Director Bleu Colquitt. "These kids ate and played hard until their hearts were content. I don't know who had the most fun, me or the kids."
