Omega Gold is a community housing development organization (CHDO) that is certified in Prince Georges County Maryland. We were founded in 2003 to address the emerging demand for work force housing - and other community concerns - in the Suitland Corridor. A CHDO is a nonprofit, community based organization that has the capacity to develop housing that is affordable within the locality it serves. We specialize in assisting critical public servants such as nurses, teachers, police officers and first responders in gaining access to reasonably priced housing. Moreover, through our outreach efforts to at-risk youth, we are developing a reputation for not only building houses, but helping to build communities as well! That is who we are.
